Youth Performing Arts

Heir-Born, is the name of the Youth Choir of Dorrisville Baptist Church (DBC). 

Taken from Romans 8:17 & John 3:3, the name implies what our students profess:  

God's children are "Born" to be heirs of His Kingdom.  

Youth choir membership is open to students in grades 7 - 12. 

Through song, sign, drama, & interpretive movement,

the youth of DBC present the gospel in young, imaginative, meaningful worship.  

On occasion they join the children's and/or adult choir in church-wide ministries.  

The choir's goal is to invite others to experience new paths of worship of our Lord, Jesus Christ. 

Our goal for the students is to engage them in worship, ministry, and learning about Christ.
Due to teens frequently tight and somewhat unpredictable agendas, rehearsal times are flexible. 

Summer & Fall practices are scheduled bi-weekly on Tuesday Evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.  

Winter & Spring practices are scheduled Sunday Afternoons from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. 

We are delighted to accept new members year 'round.
